TDR - Spooky but Fun Disney Halloween 2026

Spooky but Fun is Tokyo Disney Resort's 2026 Halloween merchandise series, built around two brand-new characters making their debut this season: Kowagari Obake-chan, a timid little ghost with Mickey-shaped ears, and Kabo-Lantern, a tiny pumpkin sprite with legs who pops out of a jack-o'-lantern to light the way. The story behind the line is simple and disarmingly sweet — the little ghost is nervous on her own, but with Kabo-Lantern glowing beside her, she isn't scared anymore. That premise runs through every product: the two characters are almost always designed together, nudged close, hanging side by side, or peeking out at each other.

The collection launched in the Japanese parks on 15 September 2026, ahead of the Disney Halloween event period of 16 September – 31 October 2026, and spans wearables and plush alike. Highlights include a glow-in-the-dark T-shirt that reads as an ordinary graphic tee by day and lights up after dark, a headband with a different facial expression on each side, a fan cap with Kabo-Lantern-inspired ears and the character dangling from the cord, a shoulder bag, and a clip-on huggable plush that pairs with five randomised plush costumes.

None of it is sold outside Japan. Tokyo Disney Resort merchandise is available only inside the parks and through the Tokyo Disney Resort app for Japan-based accounts with a domestic shipping address, with no official overseas distribution and no international shipping. LEALEA MART operates as a Japan-registered company based in Japan, buying directly through official Tokyo Disney Resort channels — every item ships as sold in the parks, tags and packaging intact, with tracked delivery to the US, UK, Europe, Australia and beyond.
